I love houses. Always have.
I love the secret quirks that make each one unique.
I was always searching, and unable to ever stop. I love to look, and I want to buy too many of them.
I also love the market. I love to find a house, kind of fall in love with it, and then think, Wow, that one won't last! Or, They'll never get that much for that place! And then in the future find out if I was right.
It's surprising it took me as long as it did to become a realtor.
I had my reservations.
Mainly, what if it's too sales-y?
It's not. Not if you don't make it that way.
Of course there's marketing involved. And negotiating. And advocating. And advising. But rarely is there convincing. Often, discussing.
My role is that of a consultant. I help people get what they want. Whether it's to find the perfect home for them, or to help rip off the bandaid and help them part ways with their past and sell their home. It is my goal to help them do it effectively, responsibly, and as easily and patiently as possible. To help them and protect them every step of the way.
A little history:
Originally from the Detroit area, I have lived in downtown Raleigh since 2001.
With two English degrees, 10 years of experience as a touring musician, and 15 years of experience in various construction and service industries, I am thoroughly versed in helping many different and diverse people communicate, solve problems, and reach their goals together during potentially emotional times and challenging circumstances.

"There was not a part of the process that seemed confusing to me and you did a wonderful job explaining everything. And I never doubted you cared, ever. Honestly I couldn't imagine buying a home with anyone else."
