I didn't think I would, but I love helping people sell their homes.

I was reluctant that it would be sales-like, but...

What I love most about real estate is that there's a huge difference between sales for sales-sake, and helping people to market a property and trying to get sellers everything they want out of their transfer of resources. 

Marketing is about presentation and putting your best foot forward to the most people possible. Not about being pushy.

And the variables in selling real estate are infinite. We're not dealing with services or products here, we're talking about people's homes and livelihood. 

There are so many intangibles. Emotional attachment, financial ties, memories, expectations for your home's continued life, and the list goes on. 

It is at once exhilarating and overwhelming. And it's my job to make it all flow as smoothly as possible.

So much depends on timing and personal preference. Who's looking right now? Why are you selling? What are your concurrent plans? How do you envision the process? What is most important to you in the sale of your home? 

Obviously, the bottom line.

But how much work do you want to do up front? How quickly do you hope for the process to go? What is the best way you can envision it happening? What part of the process are you dreading most? 

This is just the surface of what we'll explore in preparing to put your home on the market.

Selling a home is a huge transition for anybody, and I strive to help people to process it and figure out how best to approach it in their particular situation. 

And then to hit the ground running.
